We recommend that families book an Initial Consultation, which involves a pre-review of school documents, a 60 minute meeting, followed by a written report containing:
• recommendations on the student’s school subjects, . workload, and extra-curricular activities
• a list of suggestions and resources on time-management
• a personalised schedule, co-created, outlining key dates for testing, deadlines etc.
• a list of potential colleges which match the student’s interests, background and aspirations
• suggestions for future services with Campus Admissions for your particular needs
We offer support and guidance to students at any stage of their schooling, whether they’re in Grade 8 or 9, or Grade 12. As part of our commitment to developing your skills, we will work with you to search for the best institutions which match your preferences. You will learn how university and college rankings are created, and how to research the websites to find essential information such as fees, deadlines, scholarship opportunities, essay requirements etc. You will also consider the advantages and disadvantages of Early Action programs.
Together we will create a considered list of potential colleges and universities which will contain institutions which best match your interests, aspiration and current academic profile or standing. We will also work together to create a personalised calendar which sets-out the key dates and deadlines.
We offer a number of packages for students, from individual support with the UK Personal Statement or Common Application Essay, to the production of any number of college supplemental essays. Matthew is able to use his 25 years of experience as an English teacher to assist students in producing creative and persuasive essays, personal statements, and motivational letters. However, we won’t write the essays for students. Instead, we’ll teach them the processes of writing independently.
We provide a full evaluation of a student’s educational background and their extra-curricular involvement, and make recommendations to ensure strong academic progression, balanced against a rich and diverse resumé. We advise on campus visits, summer programs, work experience and volunteering opportunities. We also make recommendations on testing such as the SAT, ACT, BMAT, and language tests such as IELTs and TOEFL. We can help students and parents to formulate comprehensive, personalised calendars.
We provide guidance and support to students and families who wish to make applications to institutions around the world, including in the UK, USA, Canada, Europe and Australia. We provide services for applications through just one system such as the UK’s UCAS or Ontario’s OUAC, or alternatively we offer full packages which support applications to colleges and universities in any number of different countries, packages which include assistance with completing essays and personal statements.
