About Us
Campus Admissions is led by its founder and senior consultant, Matthew Holborow, a British educator and qualified teacher (BA, PGCE, MEd), who has worked in the UK and at international schools in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas. He has experience of working with students from diverse nationalities, cultures and educational backgrounds, including Third-Culture Kids (TCKs), those with learning differences, and those with fragmented educational experiences.
Matthew has developed an excellent understanding of the university admission systems of many countries (24 and counting) and helped hundreds of students achieve admission to their first-choice institution, many of them ranked as the best universities around the world. He has assisted students with successful scholarship applications, including some full-ride scholarships (covering tuition and accommodation for four years) - see our Testimonials page for examples.
During his career, Matthew has been a teacher of English, Head of Department, IBDP Coordinator, and School Principal; he also spent 15 years as working as College Counselor & University Admission Advisor in international schools. Matthew has comprehensive knowledge of a number of educational systems such as the International Baccalaureate (IB) and A-Levels and IGCSEs, as well as the US High School Diploma; he was the SAT Test-Centre Coordinator while working in Asia.
Learning is at the heart of everything we do. Matthew is committed to his own professional development and has participated in workshops and conferences on university admissions, visited individual universities and colleges, and hosted several university fairs. Through this he has developed a global network of colleagues within the educational and counseling community.
All our counseling and guidance sessions are conducted online via Zoom, Teams, WhatsApp, Skype and email, allowing us to provide global support at times convenient for our clients.
